Just finished three loads of laundry. Having such a lazy Saturday but still had a fair bit done. Went to the gym 8-ish, headed for house inspections thereafter. Saw good ones. Hoping to get the St. Leonards one this time. Yep, back to St. L. As a matter of fact, it's back to that usual bit of St. L. Hopefully. It is such a nice apartment. I dare not rave too much, in case we do not win the prize.
Gate crashing a party tonight. Not! Leanne's dragging me to her colleage's (we work in the same company, but different departments) big farewell. One farewell after another as last week was Bernee's.
Tried to pack, to no avail but managed to sort through a bit of stuff. When will I ever start to pack? I need to iron some clothes and tidy up my closet for starters. We don't even have an apartment yet.
Work has been nightmare-ish for the past couple of days. A colleague had to go to the hospital due to a sickness he managed to acquire overnight. And we just happened to be busy, he's supposed to be busy so work, not to mention some people's stress levels, just began to soar. Everyone still managed to leave with a smile on their faces Friday night. Not yet hell. Thank goodness.
The battle in faith continues. Managed to unearth a book on doubt. I've read through it pretty much but didn't really hit home for me. I've also unearthed The Tale of Genji! I feel so stupid as I've been wanting to read it and grab hold of a copy without even realizing I've bought one last year! Or it could have been the year before... errr... But YAAAY!
The urge to travel still lingers. Funny (and amazing) thing is, I'm in a much better position to apply for a US visa now considering my employment status, assuming my bosses are true to their words. I'm still broke so we'll see. Maybe I can do Asia for the time being. Just to get away. I can just go to the beach, really.
