the OUCH factor.

Had quite a hectic day. Awoke post 11-hour slumber and had to get ready for work. There was literally a Q for the loo in the morning and I let my flatmates go first as they have earlier start times than me.

I could tell my colleagues were expecting a rather busy day. I was, too but I hardly declare a day 'busy.' I got a stack of work to do in the morning plus some push and pressure. For some reason, my eyes weren't quite open and I daresay my eyesight has gotten worse. Can I get worker's compensation?

Had to rush to an apartment inspection. The place was pretty cool but the set-up doesn't really suit us. It's at St. L. Went back to work for an hour then I was off for some corporate bitch-fest, sponsored by the company. They've gotten really bad poll results from the previous year and are digging up the whys. I hope and pray that they do something about those concerns.

The best bit of it all was the long time away from your desk, with lunch, juice, coffees and cakes. Oh, and my flatmate did ring me to tell me we got an apartment! We'll be in Neutral Bay come end of the month!

NB is cool.

Finished work 6-ish, bro picked me up and we caught the north shore train with Kat. I headed for the gym thereafter whilst bro cooked dinner.

Came online chatting with a few friends. I've realized how I took one of them for granted, that I probably turned my back and was rather insensitive to his feelings. Been paranoid about this for a while. Part of me wants confrontation but that may be too much and perhaps unnecessary. Time will help unfold things, I reckon.

Feel a bit guilty not turning up to connect group last night. Oh well. Getting old and rickety. Just shouldn't look old and rickety. Well not yet. Maybe when I'm 50 and have won an Oscar.
